The Lapeer Manufacturing Company acquired the Wolverine Tool Company in 2009. The Wolverine line primarily features heavy duty Hold Down and Linear Action clamps that are produced from quality drop forged and billet components. Every clamp we make uses hardened pins and bushings at all pivot points, these clamps are built to provide better performance and substantially longer service life.
Our standard clamps are built in production quantity to assure off-the-shelf availability and moderate cost to our customers. Our spindle line matches the performance expectations of our clamps with quality features such as the use of urethane instead of neoprene for our non-marring spindle models.
Since 1926 the Wolverine Tool brand has been a name you can trust with a reputation for quality and personalized service. Lapeer Manufacturing is carrying on that tradition, combining the Wolverine brand with our original Knu-Vise brand of light to medium duty Hold-Down and Linear action clamps as well as heavier duty C-clamps and Pliers.
